Many of you are wondering about the next edition of the Full Distance which will take place at the Triathlon Deauville Normandie. The event having been moved to Saturday June 17, the start will take place at Lac de Pont-l’Evêque .
Here is some information on the organization of your event.
COURSE SIDE CHANGES
The start of the Full Distance will take place on Saturday June 17 at 9:00 am at Lac Terre d’Auge in Pont-l’Evêque .
The swimming will consist of 3 loops of 1250m with an Australian outing .
Regarding the new bike route , it will start directly at the exit of the bike park at Lac de Pont-l’Evêque. You will then continue on 2 loops of the “south” course – similar to that of last year, then on 1.5 loops of the “north” course – simultaneously with the triathletes of the Long Distance format . This will allow you, this year, to take the famous Côte Saint-Laurent just once and enjoy its guaranteed atmosphere. You will finish after 180km and 1970m of elevation gain, in the Deauville bike park by dropping off your bike.
The running part will again take place on the boards of Deauville, like last year, and you will have 8 loops of around 5.250km to complete for a total of 42.195km. You will arrive at the same finish line as the other races, as in the last edition, on the beach at Deauville.
The new courses are being finished and will be communicated to you shortly.
